DomainEye’s dedicated team is excited to add yet another data search option to our lookups! We will soon be able to list the SPF records of existing domains in our database /when available/. Collecting and providing such data is still rare in the domain world, but it can be useful and here’s why.
SPF records are the DNS records that identify which mail servers are allowed to send emails from your domain. They are TXT formatted and are designed to prevent spammers from sending unauthorized messages with fake ‘from’ addresses. Thus, if an email comes in from servers other than the listed in the SPF record, then the recipient’s mail server may consider it spam.
The new search feature will be available for registered platinum users.
